Doggy Day Care

Are you a dog lover? Is your dream job filled with thoughts of dogs and taking care of them? Than this is the business for you! Doggie Daycares are a hot business to start, right now.

Many dog lovers will pay as much as $30.00 a day, for their dog to be cared for while they are at work or away on vacation. There is a lot of money to be made, why not get your piece of the pie while also doing something that you love?!

Doggie Daycares are the same as a pet sitting business with one main difference; you are watching more than one dog while also making more money!

A Doggie Daycare is one of the easiest businesses to set up and start while also being one of the most profitable pet businesses to get into.

If space allows and your neighbors don’t mind the barking, you can open one at your home. A better choice would be to rent commercial space and convert it into a doggie day care. You could have a fenced outdoor play area for the dogs to play together in, and an indoor area where they can lounge. Some doggie day-care centers install web cams throughout their facility so people at work can watch the live footage online. Current rates are in the range of $20 to $35 per day, with discounts for weekly service.

Your facility should have covered and open play areas, as well as cots for the dogs to use for rest. You will also want to have play equipment for their exercise needs. You will also want to be licensed with the American Boarding Kennels Association.
